well, you already knit, so I won't suggest that... but I do like cross-stitching, which i kind of picked up from my brother's girlfriend. And another thing I've become adept at which is totally bizarre is balloon-animal-making. This started when the kid I babysit for got a balloon animal kit and couldn't create anything without destroying it before it was done (story of my life? I know). It's surprisingly fun, though not very relaxing because you have to concentrate on not popping the balloon the whole time. Plus, they eventually deflate which is depressing.

Another is sculpting with wax. It isn't really sculpting per se but it involves handling colored beeswax until it's malleable and then creating what you will with it. I like it because it's really easy to fix mistakes, so it isn't frustrating, and you can make really beautiful things.

[...] Really really well, actually. Sometimes I think about it, sometimes I don’t, but for some reason this has been a decent 40 or so days. It’s had its moments, of course — I acted very crazy just two days in, and a few weeks ago I had one of the worst panic attacks I’ve had in the last few years — but the good thing is, I can just barely remember why they happened or what happened, which shows how little they mattered. (Okay, that’s a lie: I remember the panic attack really well and know exactly why it happened, but I’m okay now.)
[...] a lot of what I do these days closely involves Someone else, and unless it has to do with me throwing up in the middle of the night while he sleeps, it doesn’t really have any business on the Internet. (Oh, what strange times are these [...]
